Learn + Grow: Fall Floral Styling + Mixology
You can never go wrong with cocktails and florals! At our Learn + Grow: Fall Floral Styling + Mixology workshop this past weekend, we got together to learn the tips and tricks to achieve the perfect Fall pairings. We had such an amazing and cozy afternoon of cocktail mixing and floral styling with everyone at our Los Angeles location. This workshop was a hostess' dream, complete with one-on-one instructions on how to create two seasonal drinks and a beautiful floral arrangement, just in time for Fall! These cocktails and floral arrangements are the ultimate duo for a Fall inspired dinner party or a dinner date for two. Cranberry Apple Cider Cocktail
- 2 ounces cranberry juice
- 1 ounce fresh squeezed orange juice, strained
- 1 ounce vodka
- 4 oz bottle hard cider, chilled
- 4 oz ginger ale
- apple slice for garnish
Fill glass and cocktail shaker with ice. Add cranberry juice, orange juice and vodka to the cocktail shaker and shake until chilled. Strain into ice filled glass. Top off the glass with the hard cider and ginger ale, then garnish with apple slice. Sip and enjoy!
Blackberry Bourbon Smash Cocktail
- 5 blackberries
- 6-8 mint leaves
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 2 oz bourbon
- 4 oz ginger ale
- To garnish: blackberries, mint, lime + peach wedge
In a glass, muddle together honey, torn mint leaves, blackberries and lemon juice then add bourbon. Fill glass with ice and top with ginger ale. Stir to combine. Garnish with a pluot wedge, additional blackberries, mint leaves and lemon/lime wedges. Serve immediately and enjoy!
